Women's Day High Tea Event.

National Women's Day is a South African public holiday celebrated annually on the 9 th of August. The significance of this holiday is to draw attention to the issues and social challenges faced by women on a daily basis.  These issues include domestic violence, femicides, sexual harassment, sexual assault, female education and etc, m any South Africa women have dedicated this day to help increase understanding and protest against these inhumane despicable acts against women. On this year’s women’s day I had the honor of being invited to attend the Tswelopele Ka Thuto Women's Day High Tea Event hosted by  Nthabiseng Mokhothu the founder of  Tswelopele Ka Thuto, a non-profit organization with the aim and vision of moving young people forward with education  through career guidance, mentorship programs and charity.     The purpose of the high tea was to collect donations in a form of  matric dance dresses, shoes and accessories ...

The Test Hub Experience (New Coffee Spot Alert!!!!!!)

The Test Hub experience is authentic.  It's like being in a photo studio, at an art gallery that serves amazing variety of coffees and pastries, and it happens to be in your grandmother’s lounge.  The space is  unique,  abit rough around the edges  with a fresh laid-back urban vibe, that plays cool e clectic music in the  background.    It’s overall aesthetic is a combination of modern furniture and touches of antique pieces that offers that warm nostalgic unpretentious feeling,  making it a perfect hang out spot to catch up with friends, take pictures while discovering local artists.
