CHANEL No. 26

                      HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO ME.

Celebrating my birthday is one of the highest favours God can
ever afford me, hence I continue to be thankful for each year I get to celebrate because I'm reminded of God's grace and mercy into my life.

I also take pride in saying I'm my parents' wildest dream not because I'm perfect or have a graduation gown to validate just how amazing and intelligent I am but because I'm a living testimony of God's generousity and love for them, and that he created a child so flawed and stubborn yet so incredibly special, who has turned out to be a decent human being and who has not fallen into the trappings of worldly things.

I am blessed, beautiful and most importantly I am everything (well partly lol...) what my parents' prayers consists of and my sole purpose at 26 is to be everything God wants me to be.

I had a Coco Chanel Themed birthday dinner party at my parents' house and I invited "26" of my friends, i honestly can't remember the last time i felt so content and appreciated for just being myself.

8 FAMOUS GAY DESIGNERS - Rising awareness against gay violence!!!!!!!!!

It amazes me when there are still individuals who discriminate against gay people, I don't know if its ignorance or just plain stupidity because the same people who you disciminate and pass judgement on are the same people who ultimately make decisions on the clothes that you wear......interesting take right?! so before you decide to be a stereotyped douche bag let the clothes that you wear be a constant reminder that gay people are also people if not special people. so ít's high time we celebrate their wonderful contributions not only in fashion, but in the development of modern art and individuality as a whole. They embody a passion for their work like no other the kind of passion that drives the majority of their career and reputation. This is my gay love of talented designers who brought great influence in the fashion industry. Marc Jacobs is not only the famous designer in the world but also the the creative director of Louis Vuitton since 1997. Jacobs is al

BOOK REVIEW: I Can't Believe It's Not A Dream - Dr. Ronnie Masilela

After reading I CAN'T BELIEVE IT'S NOT A DREAM I was reminded of two powerful quotes by Robin Sharma. ·         “My love for books is what saved me.” ·         “It’s not what you will get out of the books that is so enriching – it is what the books will get     out of you that will ultimately change your life”. For me this book is a detailed version of what Robin Sharma was talking about in those two quotes. The writing is amazing, it's  unpretentious, lucid and poignant, I really enjoyed it and the story-line is astounding and relatable.  The Robertson’s, the other families that took him in, his friends and every single person who helped him, I sincerely believe that was God extending a helping hand to him.  Never have I been so touched by a book to a point of tears, I am not sure if it’s because I know the author personally hence I was able to relate and empathize with him in such a vulnerable and humane manner or if it was pure

Women's Day High Tea Event.

National Women's Day is a South African public holiday celebrated annually on the 9 th of August. The significance of this holiday is to draw attention to the issues and social challenges faced by women on a daily basis.  These issues include domestic violence, femicides, sexual harassment, sexual assault, female education and etc, m any South Africa women have dedicated this day to help increase understanding and protest against these inhumane despicable acts against women. On this year’s women’s day I had the honor of being invited to attend the Tswelopele Ka Thuto Women's Day High Tea Event hosted by  Nthabiseng Mokhothu the founder of  Tswelopele Ka Thuto, a non-profit organization with the aim and vision of moving young people forward with education  through career guidance, mentorship programs and charity.     The purpose of the high tea was to collect donations in a form of  matric dance dresses, shoes and accessories to assist underprivileged
