Their smile soothes me like the silent melody of the morning sun because it’s so peaceful and every silent moment reminds me of them. My grade 6 learners from Shadrack Mbambo Primary School are the most vibrant, articulate and intelligent young minds who never cease to amaze me. My job is to tutor them and show them the way but they themselves have had a lot to teach me in return. As we mature we forget the smallest things that make life worth living, we never really make the most of each day, and sometimes we even forget to laugh and to be thankful to be alive. Working with these learners has taught so much about myself, I’ve learnt to smile a little even when there’s nothing for me to smile about, I’ve learnt that life is not as bad as it seems especially when you are surrounded by people who see beyond your empty stomach, your torn...

My latest fashion obsession has to be Thuli Mola she is a stylist and buyer; she shops around for the most stylish second hand vintage pieces and hosts pop up sales around Soweto where she sells some of her fashion finds. This beautiful lady has really taken fashion to a different height, her staple leather and denim looks just makes her a force to be reckoned with in the South African fashion industry. Be on the lookout for her I predict great things.

These men are the epitome of dapper they are a constant reminder of why I appreciate and admire men who exude features that elevate respect, elegance, romance, sexiness, and most of all, charm and style. They have also influenced and inspired how I treat and carry myself as a modern woman in fashion
